The Leap is the strongest Trijicon RMR Quick-Detach mount we've ever tested.
We tested a variety of quick-detach mounts on a digital test stand capable of exerting up to 1500lbs of force. We then used this data to refine our original Trijicon RMR mount design, culminating in the LEAP; a quick-detach mount that is both the lightest and strongest on the market today.
A highly efficient clamp design guarantees precise operation and unprecedented rigidity: It features an oversize hooded thru-hole to buttress the thumbscrew's shank, which is the maximum possible diameter to fit a Picatinny channel. A pair of hardened steel precision ground pins is press fitted to the clamp and act as guides.
During its development, the Leap mount was subjected to dozens of stress tests before a single prototype was ever made. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) helped extract every bit of performance from every gram of material. This cutting-edge design process has resulted in the most efficient mount design possible.
Every Leap mount is CNC machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum billet, which has vastly superior mechanical properties to 6061-T6, and is used where ultimate strength and durability outweigh cost considerations.

ClickDrive's low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp require only the torque from your bare hand to securely attach onto a rail. An integrated spring-loaded ball-detent exerts enough force against the crown to make it completely recoil proof.

I bought the mount for my mpx. Super light weight and sleek design. Love the return to zero and ratcheting mounting system. Delivery was extremely fast. Only thing that would make this a better mount (for me personally) would be a 1.93″ height option.

Great mount. installation is rock solid. Purchased the package with the SRO Trijicon optic. Comes together as super light, great zero, easy target acquisition and both eyes open. Only concerns with the SRO on a rifle/pcc platform is thoat the eye relief is shorter than on say a handgun. as a result there is some noticable magnification/fish eying in the product, something i never noticed on my aimpoints. Also, do note that this optic is not as rugged as the rmr as evident from some online reviews where the optic glass got damage when it fell on the top of the lense. However, with that said, this is a super light, super nimble package. I am running this on a PTR9CT and with the 1.42 inch riser, the iron sights are fully functional and the red dot does not get bothered by the front sight hood. Do recommend!
