Sight Screws

These sight screws are custom made for Scalarworks in the USA. They are cold-headed and heat-treated to HRC 39-45, and feature a corrosion resistant Black Oxide finish.
All Scalarworks sight screws have a Torx T10 socket to minimize the chances of stripping the socket, and to simplify installation across various optic platforms.
Each screw has a Nylok® Torq-Patch® applied to the threads. Nylok® Torq-Patch® is a self-locking nylon permanently bonded onto the threads that resists vibration loosening. Since nylon has great memory characteristics, this locking element can be reused several times.

Torx heads are easier to torque, and wont deform as easily. Be very sure you have the right length. These may thread into most pistol optic cuts, however mine were just a little too long for the Maxim 9. Not an issue with SCALarworks or the product, hopefully they will get a few more lengths to accommodate everyone.
