From Peep to Post
In making the Peak Sights we left no stone unturned and few parts untouched.
Every major component is custom designed with meaningful improvements to function, and precision CNC machined to the highest standards of fit & finish.
Right Radius
Peak Sights are designed around a modern 15" sight radius. While carbine length rifles have become the norm, most fixed iron sights still use components designed for the M16A2's 20" sight radius.
Peak Sights have manually adjustable elevation (front) and windage (rear): Both with a refined 0.5MOA/click, which matches most Red Dot sights'.
The Peak sight post is CNC machined to the correct width for a 15" sight radius, non-rotating for finer adjustment, and flat faced to eliminate highlight bias.
Corrective Vision
The human eye intuitively centers objects within a bright aperture.
Peak Sights have precision CNC milled apertures that are flat toward the shooter, so they won't create highlight bias.
Stock A2 peep apertures are cast and have a scallop facing the shooter that can generate a misleading highlight.

SOLID SIGHTS
Every Peak sight is CNC milled from 7075-T6 aluminum billet, which has vastly superior mechanical properties to 6061-T6, and is used where ultimate strength and durability outweigh cost considerations.

Peak Sights have a streamlined profile free of protruding levers and knobs that won't rap your knuckles, or get caught on clothing, gear, and surroundings.

Excellent quality and the lightness of the sights is really strange to feel in person but good. I wasn’t quite sure if I wanted a fixed rear sight after years of using a folding but I’m glad I did.

I bought the “Peak” iron sight set.
Shipping was fast enough, arrived on time. Upon opening the package I could see that the sights were quite aesthetically pleasing and looked and felt well made, and lightweight. Upon closer inspection I saw that the rear sight, large peephole was milled off center, (obviously a problem if you want to aim straight). So I contacted Scalarworks, and let them know there was an issue, I did so via email through the weekend, by monday I got a call from one of their people, and he let me know they had shipped out a replacement rear sight, and a prepaid envelope to return the defective one. The replacement arrived I believe 2 days later, and this one was perfect.
Customer service seems to be spot on.
Now for the Sights themselves, the adjustments can be made easily, without tools, the clicks are solid, I dont believe that they will be accidentally bumped out of zero. The smaller peep hole is a bit too small for my eyesight, the larger hole is much easier for me to acquire my target in a timely manner. Theres not a whole lot you can say about some iron sights, but I would buy them again for another rifle, in my opinion they are worth the money. They work, theyre lightweight, they look nice, they are machined to tight tolerances, probably pretty durable, and if they send you a lemon, the company will replace that lemon with out any troubles. 5/5

Bought the fixed set, third party”t Rex Arms” I have to say also just as advertised. Lite weight, high quality, extremely durable, would recommend to anyone interested. These are going to be my default sights on all my rifles. Exceptional products scalarworks.
