    As with all Scalarworks products, the sight is beautifully machined. It is clean and minimalist while providing the intended functionality. It even comes with the appropriate torx bit for installation. I could not be happier. If I could make one input for a “Gen 2” version of the rear sight, I would suggest adding an optional set screw which can fit snuggly inside the large apperture when it is rotated into the lower position. This would enable the user to lock the sight with the smaller aperture in the upward position with perfect and consistent alignment, and would require nothing more than tapping a screw hole in the lower part of the arm.

    Absolutely amazing sights. I chose these specifically because my Noveske MicroSwitchblock SBR has two rail slots up in front of the gas block, and most sights (folding or otherwise) overhang one direction or another. Putting the sights behind the gas block meant I was not only leaving that front section unused, but I was also intruding on my already-limited railspace.
    These sights literally solved all of those problems at once, and did so while living up to and adhering to Scalarworks’ high standards for quality.
    300 bucks is an insane amount to spend on a set of backup sights, at least for me, but since I spared no expense on the rifle in question, and I love SW, it just made sense to me; and I couldn’t be any happier 🙂
