The lightest, strongest, and most compact quick-detach red dot sight mount available. LEAP/01 redefines the standard for mounting your Aimpoint Micro T-2 footprint compatible optic to your AR-15's Picatinny top rail. Available in 1.42”, 1.57”, and 1.93” optic height.
All Trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used in accordance with FTC Comparative Advertising guidelines. All mounts weighed under the same conditions with all hardware necessary to attach an Aimpoint Micro T-2 in lower-third co-witness height.
We benchmarked all of the top quick-detach mounts on a digital test stand capable of exerting up to 1500lbs of force. We then used this data to refine our Aimpoint Micro T-2 mount design, culminating in the LEAP; a quick-detach mount that is both the lightest and strongest on the market today.
A highly efficient clamp design guarantees precise operation and unprecedented rigidity: It features an oversize hooded thru-hole to buttress the thumbscrew's shank, which is the maximum possible diameter to fit a Picatinny channel. A pair of hardened steel precision ground pins is press fitted to the clamp and act as guides.
During its development, the Leap mount was subjected to dozens of stress tests before a single prototype was ever made. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) helped extract every bit of performance from every gram of material. This cutting-edge design process has resulted in the most efficient mount design possible.
The LEAP mount lets you shoot at your very best by eliminating snag hazards and putting nothing in the way of weapon manipulations. With its industry leading ClickDrive quick-detach mechanism, the Leap mount is symmetrical, protruding less than 7mm from either side of your Picatinny rail.

This is great and I would recommend it to anyone. I would not try to put this on any B&T firearm because it just doesn’t fit. I had to use homemade tooling in order to get it to fit “ok” on the rail. If you are buying it for anything else it will work great!

This is the lightest red dot mount I have ever tried. It is solid and super easy to put on and take off yet it stays put and does not loosen of time even in high round count sessions. Light, robust, user friendly… what more could you want?

This LEAP 01 mount is well made, well packaged, and simple to install. Added height make it easier to sight the rifle. Not inexpensive, though im pleased.

I purchased the 1.42 height mount to be installed on an ultimak rail on an AK pistol, with a 10.5 barrel. The mount has been solid so far. As anyone who uses an Ultimak rail on an AK knows, it gets super hot and probably not good for optics long term. The raised mount means that the optic doesn’t sit directly on the rail and thus, does not get hot. I added a cheek riser for the brace for a better cheek weld. Also, the fact that the mount is open underneath means that I can still cowitness my iron sights, similar to optics installed on the the AR15 carrying handle. For anyone considering this setup, just know I had to file down a bit of the Ultimak rail to allow the adjustment knob on the mount to fit, but not a big deal to me. I will see how it works out long term, but for now, I am very pleased with the mount.
