We benchmarked all of the top quick-detach mounts on a digital test stand capable of exerting up to 1500lbs of force. We then used this data to refine our Aimpoint Micro T-2 mount design, culminating in the LEAP; a quick-detach mount that is both the lightest and strongest on the market today.

A highly efficient clamp design guarantees precise operation and unprecedented rigidity: It features an oversize hooded thru-hole to buttress the thumbscrew's shank, which is the maximum possible diameter to fit a Picatinny channel. A pair of hardened steel precision ground pins is press fitted to the clamp and act as guides.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) helped extract every bit of performance from every gram of material. This cutting-edge design process has resulted in the most efficient mount design possible.

The LEAP mount lets you shoot at your very best by eliminating snag hazards and putting nothing in the way of weapon manipulations. With its industry leading ClickDrive quick-detach mechanism, the Leap mount is symmetrical, protruding less than 7mm from either side of your Picatinny rail.

ClickDrive's low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp require only the torque from your bare hand to securely attach onto a rail. An integrated spring-loaded ball-detent exerts enough force against the crown to make it completely recoil proof.

    I just completed a 2 day tactical carbine class. It was a torrential downpour virtually the entire time.  

    After about a 1000 rounds, I was watching other red dots fall off or flat out fail from the moisture. I watched everything with threads that weren’t loctite’d on rattle off of guns. I saw people struggling with the weight of their water logged equipment. 

    This lightweight bundle ran through the courses of fire without a hiccup.  Malfunction drills, numerous shooting positions,  bounding drills, etc… I didn’t lose my zero once, the Aimpoint performed flawlessly, the light weight of this bundle helped me tremendously, and the mount never loosened up, not even a click. 

    Thank you guys for building what I consider the very best mount on the market. As the saying goes… buy once, cry once… this bundle is worth every penny.
