We benchmarked all of the top quick-detach mounts on a digital test stand capable of exerting up to 1500lbs of force. We then used this data to refine our Aimpoint Micro T-2 mount design, culminating in the LEAP; a quick-detach mount that is both the lightest and strongest on the market today.

A highly efficient clamp design guarantees precise operation and unprecedented rigidity: It features an oversize hooded thru-hole to buttress the thumbscrew's shank, which is the maximum possible diameter to fit a Picatinny channel. A pair of hardened steel precision ground pins is press fitted to the clamp and act as guides.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) helped extract every bit of performance from every gram of material. This cutting-edge design process has resulted in the most efficient mount design possible.

The LEAP mount lets you shoot at your very best by eliminating snag hazards and putting nothing in the way of weapon manipulations. With its industry leading ClickDrive quick-detach mechanism, the Leap mount is symmetrical, protruding less than 7mm from either side of your Picatinny rail.

ClickDrive's low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp require only the torque from your bare hand to securely attach onto a rail. An integrated spring-loaded ball-detent exerts enough force against the crown to make it completely recoil proof.

    Impressed with how such a lightweight, skeletonized mount is extremely durable. I also noticed there was no backward/forward play before cranking it down to the rail. Rock Solid/Secured mounting with just your fingertips! Great Engineering developing these mounts and for the price of the bundles, there is nothing that can beat that.

    I have been running a Geissele T1/T2 mount which is a very nice Great mount, But i just replaced it with the Scalarworks Leap mount, and WOW. This thing screams PERFECTION, light weight, lock up is fantastic. Smooth,audible, and very crisp kn the lock ip clicks. Holds zero and return to zero is awesome. I love having to use zero tools to take it off and lut it on and yet not have to worry about it falling off. I did not care for the big nut on the G mount. Needed tools and looks odd. The Scalarworks Mount is TOP Notch, top floor, the Penthouse. Amazing. Now i need to get 2 30mm scope mounts to swap out my G mounts. The Scalarworks scope mounts have a built in level feature. They thought of everything. Its a must buy.
