MIGHTY MOUNT
The Leap is the strongest Trijicon RMR Quick-Detach mount we've ever tested.
We tested a variety of quick-detach mounts on a digital test stand capable of exerting up to 1500lbs of force. We then used this data to refine our original Trijicon RMR mount design, culminating in the LEAP; a quick-detach mount that is both the lightest and strongest on the market today.
A highly efficient clamp design guarantees precise operation and unprecedented rigidity: It features an oversize hooded thru-hole to buttress the thumbscrew's shank, which is the maximum possible diameter to fit a Picatinny channel. A pair of hardened steel precision ground pins is press fitted to the clamp and act as guides.
During its development, the Leap mount was subjected to dozens of stress tests before a single prototype was ever made. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) helped extract every bit of performance from every gram of material. This cutting-edge design process has resulted in the most efficient mount design possible.
Every Leap mount is CNC machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum billet, which has vastly superior mechanical properties to 6061-T6, and is used where ultimate strength and durability outweigh cost considerations.

ClickDrive's low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp require only the torque from your bare hand to securely attach onto a rail. An integrated spring-loaded ball-detent exerts enough force against the crown to make it completely recoil proof.

I bought this mount and it saved my life. One night my friend and I were drinking (not Bud Light) and I decided to install this mount. While I was tinkering with around, my friend decided to grab my crossbow and stuck a carbon fiber broadhead hunting bolt in it. We were probably on out 10th beer(not BudLight) when one of the screws I was trying to install fell out, and just as I bent over to pick it up I heard the bolt release and felt the disturbance in the air as the bolt when past my head at Mach-Jesus. If it wasn’t for this mount I’d surely be shoulder mounted on a wall somewhere next to the 8 pointer he got last fall.
