Form Follows Performance
The LEAP/08 base incorporates different structural elements to maximize overall performance.
A large diameter tubular section up front to resist torsion from side impacts, and a very wide I-beam bridge in the rear to resist recoil induced oscillations.
Every Leap mount is CNC milled from 7075-T6 Aluminum billet, which has vastly superior mechanical properties to 6061-T6, and is used where ultimate strength and durability outweigh cost considerations.

Fantastic mount. However, you need to incrementally tighten the rings while incrementally loosening the level drive screw. I didn’t realize I needed to do that and I stripped the screw trying to remove it. So I have some spares on the way. The screw gets removed so making it out of aluminum isn’t necessary, just make it out of steel so it doesn’t strip so easily. Also, consider making an iRay RH25 mount to match the 1.93 please.

Amazing investment. The build quality- insanely meticulous. I Know that I spent my well earned money well. Adjustment Clicks like a Rolex bezel- without the stingy lists and releases to privileged customers. I know that my optics are secure, leveled and centered, and meant to operate as they were intended – precisely. I love ScalarWorks products- when you spend $ on an optic…. It makes sense to mount it with something just as precise. But no Lefty kick for the Delta Point Pro?!
