Smart Structure
The LEAP/09 base incorporates different structural elements to maximize overall performance.
A large diameter tubular section up front to resist torsion from side impacts, and a very wide I-beam bridge in the rear to resist recoil induced oscillations.
Every Leap mount is CNC milled from 7075-T6 Aluminum billet, which has vastly superior mechanical properties to 6061-T6, and is used where ultimate strength and durability outweigh cost considerations.

A fluted crown requires only the torque from your bare hand to securely clamp the mount onto a rail, and uses the force from a spring-loaded ball-detent to make it completely recoil proof. Return-to-zero is guaranteed as long as the same person takes it on and off.

Super Easy! I’m not a long range shooting guy, mostly work on red dots and sometimes a short range magnifier. I got my LPVO mounted up and the LEAP mount set up in no time. Instructions were great, and super easy to follow with proper provided tools. The LPVO needed minor adjustments to zero, and the 1.93 height works fantastic for me. The tool-less mount to rifle system is awesome. Again, not my cup of tea and I was able to get it dialed in quickly. Great product, packaging, and instructions. Really impressed! I have been running the first generation mount for 3 years now. It is the best mount I have ever used. It has never shifted or any screws loosened. Believe me I put it to the test. This is on my rifle I literally take it everywhere with me and I never put it in a case. I don’t torture test it but I don’t baby it either. It usually get tossed in the back seat and bounces around. It has slid down the wall in my house because the dogs keep knocking it over and landed on the scope multiple times. This mount never skips a beat. I can take it on and off without shifting zero to. This mount will serve you well for as long as you have your rifle. The only thing I would want different is a god 20 or 30 Moa option. O ya easiest scope to mount out there!
