Form Follows Performance
The LEAP/08 base incorporates different structural elements to maximize overall performance.
A large diameter tubular section up front to resist torsion from side impacts, and a very wide I-beam bridge in the rear to resist recoil induced oscillations.
Every Leap mount is CNC milled from 7075-T6 Aluminum billet, which has vastly superior mechanical properties to 6061-T6, and is used where ultimate strength and durability outweigh cost considerations.

ClickDrive's low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp require only the torque from your bare hand to securely attach onto a rail. An integrated spring-loaded ball-detent exerts enough force against the crown to make it completely recoil proof.

Running this bad boy on a Sig MCX with a 34mm Nightforce 1-8x ATACR as well as the KICK 2 with an RMR Type 2. Absolutely the easiest, lightest and overall best mount for how I run my gun (in and out of cars/suvs and medium to close work). For running the RMR with these monster turrets, lineups perfect with minimum snag hazard which says a lot for this mount/setup. With being over 6’ and having a mongloid head, the 1.93” is absolutely clutch lining up eye to glass/RMR maintaining that crucial heads up positioning without sacrificing stock/cheek weld. You will also find yourself running naturally faster (shot timer doesn’t lie) and better overall grouping
