Every Sync is CNC milled from 7075-T6 billet, which has vastly superior mechanical properties to 6061-T6, and is used where ultimate strength and durability outweigh cost considerations.
WATERTIGHT
The Sync for Trijicon RMR features a waterproof mounting platform that doesn't require a sealing plate thanks to our custom o-ring equipped mounting screw.

not sure i like the two inner anchor points as they dont actually torque the mount down on the receiver. the inner anchor points are more like locating pins; only the two outer anchor points are bolting the mount to gun. this design seems rather silly for a co. that gets so much praise in the reviews…

Hi, James. The center pins provide added side impact resistance in the event of a drop. It’s impossible to have top mounted screws in those locations due to the fact that the optic has to be attached to the rail before the rail can be mounted to the shotgun.
