We benchmarked all of the top quick-detach mounts on a digital test stand capable of exerting up to 1500lbs of force. We then used this data to refine our Aimpoint Micro T-2 mount design, culminating in the LEAP; a quick-detach mount that is both the lightest and strongest on the market today.

A highly efficient clamp design guarantees precise operation and unprecedented rigidity: It features an oversize hooded thru-hole to buttress the thumbscrew's shank, which is the maximum possible diameter to fit a Picatinny channel. A pair of hardened steel precision ground pins is press fitted to the clamp and act as guides.

ClickDrive's low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp require only the torque from your bare hand to securely attach onto a rail. An integrated spring-loaded ball-detent exerts enough force against the crown to make it completely recoil proof.

    Mount is excellent and the looks absolutely awesome!
    One issue I encountered was two of the mounting screws didn’t tighten but just kept spinning. They were in the corners diagonally from each other. The other two screws locked down fine.

    There should be a warning for these and b&t products. The clamp does not open enough to fit on my apc or ghm9. It popped on finally (mind you I have 5 mounts from you and love them) but then it was stuck on my ghm9c. I said “oh well” can’t return it now because it is slightly marred and stuck on my b&t. Reptilia, LaRue, ADM, no issues with my b&t. Anyways. With the overhang from the rail to receiver of b&ts (apc and Ghm) you also cannot spin the locking mechanism. Once mine was on and I couldn’t get it off, I had to use a hammer and a pry bar to gently tap the wheel until it was locked. This also marred up my upper receiver. Again, I would have continued if it hadn’t gotten stuck in the rail. I couldn’t open it up more. Well, now it’s on there forever. I did take some of my other mounts (I’ve bought 2 mps packages from you) and the same issue happened. I didn’t press as hard because I didn’t want two mounts stuck on my b&t. Overall it’s on now and it’s not coming off. There really was no way to return it. Hopefully I never have to take it off. But there should definitely be a warning about b&t. I also should have researched it because this issue is shown on reddit. Oh well. Still love the idea of the product, just disappointed that it messed up my finish, and didn’t open enough leading to where I am now. Also my past two orders (one was a mps combo, the other was a t2 combo) I got 0 stickers. That’s a lot of money for 0 stickers lol.
