We benchmarked all of the top quick-detach mounts on a digital test stand capable of exerting up to 1500lbs of force. We then used this data to refine our Aimpoint Micro T-2 mount design, culminating in the LEAP; a quick-detach mount that is both the lightest and strongest on the market today.

A highly efficient clamp design guarantees precise operation and unprecedented rigidity: It features an oversize hooded thru-hole to buttress the thumbscrew's shank, which is the maximum possible diameter to fit a Picatinny channel. A pair of hardened steel precision ground pins is press fitted to the clamp and act as guides.

The LEAP mount lets you shoot at your very best by eliminating snag hazards and putting nothing in the way of weapon manipulations. With its industry leading ClickDrive quick-detach mechanism, the Leap mount is symmetrical, protruding less than 7mm from either side of your Picatinny rail.

ClickDrive's low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp require only the torque from your bare hand to securely attach onto a rail. An integrated spring-loaded ball-detent exerts enough force against the crown to make it completely recoil proof.

    First impression- Rock solid. I purchased the mount and sight as a combo, went to the range, zeroed the irons, mounted the optic, zeroed the optic, and shot a course the next day, zero problems. Mount is well built, and the ball detent retention system works great. Everything you need is included in combo package including the Aimpoint tool and manual, as well as Scalarworks info as well.

    After shooting all day – Very satisfied.

    I have multiple LEAP mounts from Scalarworks for a Micro T-2 as well as an MRO. Scalarworks mounts are the best of the best when it comes to quality, ease of use, and overall aesthetics.     1.93 feels way better than 2.26 for me. Plus the quick detach is phenomenal. As a person that likes to change up their guns, this product gives you the freedom to move sights around without completely resetting your zero. Forget any type of cowitness for buis. If your sight fails, take it off.
