We benchmarked all of the top quick-detach mounts on a digital test stand capable of exerting up to 1500lbs of force. We then used this data to refine our Aimpoint Micro T-2 mount design, culminating in the LEAP; a quick-detach mount that is both the lightest and strongest on the market today.

A highly efficient clamp design guarantees precise operation and unprecedented rigidity: It features an oversize hooded thru-hole to buttress the thumbscrew's shank, which is the maximum possible diameter to fit a Picatinny channel. A pair of hardened steel precision ground pins is press fitted to the clamp and act as guides.

The LEAP mount lets you shoot at your very best by eliminating snag hazards and putting nothing in the way of weapon manipulations. With its industry leading ClickDrive quick-detach mechanism, the Leap mount is symmetrical, protruding less than 7mm from either side of your Picatinny rail.

ClickDrive's low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp require only the torque from your bare hand to securely attach onto a rail. An integrated spring-loaded ball-detent exerts enough force against the crown to make it completely recoil proof.

    Fit and finish on this product is off the chart amazing. I don’t really beat on my optics but I do run them pretty hard and without a doubt this combo is up to the task. What I like the most is how fast it is to remove and reinstall the mount. I like the thumb screw a lot better than a throw lever. The mount and sight combo is actually a really good deal price wise. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for the best that money can buy.

    Just received your product from across the US in a week! Great service. Thanks for the lens brush and nice stickers. Impressive! As for your mount, the machining is extremely nice. Excellent quality. Being mainly a scope user, this is my first Aimpoint product. Very nice as well. Easily sighted in as per instructions. I can see where this red dot can make the iron sight shooter at least twice as accurate. (At least for me!) 100yards… 2 1/4″ open sight to 1″ with red dot, with a less expensive AR.
    The Scalaworks Benelli base that I’ve had for over a year, is also a great item. I will recommend your products.
