LEAP/05
State of the art Trijicon MRO mounts.
Designed for shooters who want the lightest, strongest, and most compact quick-detach red dot sight mount possible. The LEAP/05 redefines the standard for mounting your Trijicon MRO footprint compatible optic to your AR-15's Picatinny top rail. Available in 1.57” and 1.93” optic heights.
LIGHT MADE RIGHT
Engineered to be the lightest Trijicon MRO QD mount, without compromising an ounce of strength.
The LEAP/05 is precision CNC machined from all six sides out of a single piece of 7075-T6 Aluminum billet to ensure the ideal strength-to-weight ratio.

MIGHTY MOUNT
The Leap is the strongest Trijicon MRO Quick-Detach mount we've ever tested.
We tested a variety of quick-detach mounts on a digital test stand capable of exerting up to 1500lbs of force. We then used this data to refine our original Trijicon MRO mount design, culminating in the LEAP; a quick-detach mount that is both the lightest and strongest on the market today.
A highly efficient clamp design guarantees precise operation and unprecedented rigidity: It features an oversize hooded thru-hole to buttress the thumbscrew's shank, which is the maximum possible diameter to fit a Picatinny channel. A pair of hardened steel precision ground pins is press fitted to the clamp and act as guides.
During its development, the Leap mount was subjected to dozens of stress tests before a single prototype was ever made. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) helped extract every bit of performance from every gram of material. This cutting-edge design process has resulted in the most efficient mount design possible.
Every Leap mount is CNC machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum billet, which has vastly superior mechanical properties to 6061-T6, and is used where ultimate strength and durability outweigh cost considerations.
SMOOTH IS FAST
Quick-Detach with no protruding levers or knobs.
The LEAP mount lets you shoot at your very best by eliminating snag hazards and putting nothing in the way of weapon manipulations. With its industry leading ClickDrive quick-detach mechanism, the Leap mount is symmetrical, protruding less than 7mm from either side of your Picatinny rail.

After looking for a 1.93″ mount for my Trijicon MRO HD and purchasing what I’ve heard through a general consensus from everyone I know, combing through reddit, Facebook, and YouTube comment threads, I finally purchased a Scalarworks mount, which in hindsight is hardly more expensive than the other high quality popular mounts that are available today from different competitive manufacturers. When I received the mount and attached it to my H&K SP-5 the extremely tight, and flush fit, flush edges, perfect finish, impressively sleek/cool looking design etc., actually exceeded my expectations and high standards. Within days I was ordering a second mount for a Aimpoint ACRO P-2 which arrived last Friday. This mount was also a total game changer in terms of the quality, construction, it’s extremely convenient QR attachment system that retains zero with the spring loaded tightening knob that requires only ones hand and arm strength to attach to the rail. I’ve been able to remove, replace, swap, reattach my optics aiming devices in a way that has never been a part of my shooting experience. These two mounts, the 1.93″ on my Trijicon MRO HD which I am currently using on my KAC Sr-15, and the second mount by Scalarworks, a 1.57″ that I’m using on an Aimpoint ACRO P-2, with this system sitting on a Hydra Mount by the GBRS Group allows for an optics/laser & IR illuminator solution on a HK SP-5 which has extremely limited rail space with it’s 8.5″ handguard and charging handle which removes the top rail as a mounting option. Both Scalarworks mounts are worth their weight in gold, which isn’t saying much considering that they don’t weigh a whole lot. In fact, they’re worth way more than their weight in gold and in hindsight, after having received both mounts and using them as replacements to the much heavier, much less convenient, much harder to adjust or swap out, there’s no other mount that I would ever consider using after experiencing the differences first hand and personally. The hype is real and my hard to meet expectations have been far exceeded and blown out of the water. On a scale of 1-10 I’d give them a 10. If I rated the next closest competitor a 9/10, then I’d rate the mount by Scalarworks a 19/10 as this mount is an entirely different category all by itself. It’s not even a fair fight. Scalarworks totally changed the game, then they changed the rules which determine how an optics mount is to be manufactured and what to expect when you buy it. And then they didn’t share the rules with their competitors. They just left them in the dust. Innovation of the mechanical engineering required for the design and development of this mounting solution, stopped with Scalarworks. I’m not sure if all other companies just gave up and surrendered realizing that the perfect mount has been invented and developed and there was no further innovation left to improve on. It wasn’t even worth trying. 2nd place is the first loser and the optics mount game is now simply a fight for the distinguished title of “the first loser.” The weight, the finish and quality of construction, and especially that knob, that easy to tighten by hand, deeply satisfying clicking knob that feels like it’s being aided by hydrolic fluid or some sort of mechanical advantage that only the engineers know the secret to. I can only describe it as is like the difference between night and day, between cats and dogs, between a Hyundai and an Aston Martin, between a Volt and a Tesla, between President Trump and King Brandon. They just don’t compare. Scalarworks innovated and perfected the optics mount game. Scalarworks won. Game over!
