Form Follows Performance

The LEAP/08 base incorporates different structural elements to maximize overall performance.

A large diameter tubular section up front to resist torsion from side impacts, and a very wide I-beam bridge in the rear to resist recoil induced oscillations.

ClickDrive's low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp require only the torque from your bare hand to securely attach onto a rail. An integrated spring-loaded ball-detent exerts enough force against the crown to make it completely recoil proof.

    I like mine a lot. I have the 1.93. I would’ve bought a 1.7″ also if offered. Wouldn’t the FDE look so much cooler with burnt bronze screws and ratcheting wheels?
