The LEAP/08 base incorporates different structural elements to maximize overall performance.

A large diameter tubular section up front to resist torsion from side impacts, and a very wide I-beam bridge in the rear to resist recoil induced oscillations.

    The 1.57 inch mount is an amazing piece of equipment, leveled perfectly, secure mounting. My only issue is 100 personal preference as it is just a touch higher than I would personally prefer, strictly based on the current configuration of the rifle, and I can easily make a riser to accommodate. Other than that I won’t hesitate to purchase scalarworks mounts for future projects
