Every Leap mount is CNC milled from 7075-T6 Aluminum billet, which has vastly superior mechanical properties to 6061-T6, and is used where ultimate strength and durability outweigh cost considerations.

The world's most efficient quick-detach.
ClickDrive is a tool-free quick-detach system that self-adjusts to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, making it a breeze to move your optic from rifle to rifle. Its low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp require only the torque from your bare hand to securely attach the mount onto a rail. An integrated spring-loaded ball-detent exerts enough force against the crown to make it completely recoil proof. Since ClickDrive is a timed system, return-to-Zero is guaranteed as long as the same person takes it on and off.

Ordered the LEAP/12 for my EXPS2 and I could not be more impressed with it. The build quality is what you expect from Scalarworks.. simply top notch! It’s incredibly light as well.. and since it is replacing the EXPS QD mount, there is no added weight like you will see from competitor risers. Looks awesome when installed as well! Definitely recommend the LEAP/12!

exactly what i was looking for. Just one caution, be careful when unscrewing the hood and the base. They use Loctite from the factory so if you’re not careful, you can easily strip the screws. I did but Eotech hooked me up with new screws for the hood.
