Scalarworks Leap Scope mount ClickDrive quick-detach system

ClickDrive®

The world's most efficient quick-detach.

The best ACOG mount I’ve ever used. So simple, so lightweight, so durable (much like the ACOG itself). In short, it is everything you come to expect from Scalarworks consistently forward-thinking blend of innovation, quality, and practicality. The offset nature of the mount means you can still keep a rear folding sight behind it, and the 1.75” version of the mount sits at the EXACT perfect height for a fixed front sight (a PEAK, of course) to show up in the bottom 1/4 or so of the sight picture, so that you can utilize the front sight blade as a means of centering your head position by ensuring the bottom of your reticle is lined up with the tiny bit of front sight that’s visible. It’s never in the way when you need to take faster shots, yet it’s always discernible when you need to take a low probability precision shot. When utilized with the crosshair reticle, a fixed front sight, a quality trigger, and quality ammo (think 77gr OTM/ 75 gr BTHP, et al) this “combat accurate” optic very quickly transforms into a sub moa tack driver, and this mount plays a huge role in that.

I simply cannot say enough good things about this optic / mount combo. Do yourself a favor, and grab a PEAK fixed front iron, as well a PEAK folding rear, both standard height (1.57”). You’ll be astonished at the interplay between the 1.75” mount and the 1.57” fixed front iron. As I said, never in the way or even close to it, but always there as a way to ensure your head position is dead centered, which will make a noticeable change to your groups.

I thought I would never find a TA31 mount I liked better than my ADM titanium quick detach. Boy was I wrong. Pair this thing with a Romeo 4T Pro on an Arisaka canted red dot mount (high / 1.93”), and you have the best 1x / best 4x, and there is zero head movement necessary when switching between them. Aimpoint T2 works too, but the Romeo 4t Pro is cheaper, better in some areas, dead even in some areas, and both have extensive Tier 1 / GWOT track records (we don’t hear about the R4T Pro as much because it’s in use by top level European dudes, SAS, SBS, Australians, etc, whereas the American dudes always go Aimpoint).

Bottom line – this mount is the truth, and the bedrock of what I would argue is one of the highest quality, top performing optic system configurations possible.

I went with the 1.75 inch ACOG mount and I am satisfied with it. This mount is noticeably lighter than my previous two mounts. It is streamlined and snag-free. It raises the optic 1/4” higher than my standard 1.5 inch mounts. I have standard full size Troy flip up sights. The front face of the folded rear Troy sight is angled and this allows the rear of the ACOG/Scalarworks combo to clear a portion of the rear BUIS face bringing the optic back 1/4”. Keeping my BUIS and gaining eye relief. Also the front of the Scalarworks mount is elevated and allows something like an offset RDS mount to come closer to the front of the ACOG. This is my second Scalarworks mount and they are perfectly machined. Please note the ACOG mount comes with mounting screws and a very nice bit. A+

Lighter than my previous ARMS mount, can now have backup offset irons on the rifle at the same time as my ACOG
