We analyzed load versus displacement data for a veriety of Quick-Detach mounts to develop a mount that is both the lightest and strongest on the market today.
Every Leap mount is CNC milled from 7075-T6 Aluminum billet, which has vastly superior mechanical properties to 6061-T6, and is used where ultimate strength and durability outweigh cost considerations.

In the box Packaging was superb ( they included the torque bit and vacuum sealed the mount). The build quality and packaging styling were fenominal. As an Aerospace Engineer I can say that the build, finish, and functionality of the mount is emaculate and absolutely will engineered in its design.

I had been looking for alternate ACOG mounts that allowed the use of a BUIS behind the optic when mounted but had been leaning towards replacing my ACOG with an LPVO that I could be more comfortable behind. I really enjoy the extra height built into this mount, head position is comfortably more upright, sight picture is extremely fast to acquire, the additional options for eye relief this mount offers is great for achieving a comfortable LOP on your platform

Works as intended! This pretty much fixed all of my issues I had with the ACOG platform as a whole. This has allowed me to set my optic as far back as I want so that I don’t have to move my head to the optic or run my stock collapsed. The 1.93 mounting height is also much more comfortable and allows me to get a proper cheek weld onto my stock vs the factory mount from Trijicon.
