Form Follows Performance
The LEAP/08 base incorporates different structural elements to maximize overall performance.
A large diameter tubular section up front to resist torsion from side impacts, and a very wide I-beam bridge in the rear to resist recoil induced oscillations.
Every Leap mount is CNC milled from 7075-T6 Aluminum billet, which has vastly superior mechanical properties to 6061-T6, and is used where ultimate strength and durability outweigh cost considerations.

ClickDrive's low-profile thumbscrew and low-friction telescoping clamp require only the torque from your bare hand to securely attach onto a rail. An integrated spring-loaded ball-detent exerts enough force against the crown to make it completely recoil proof.

Finally committed to the purchase, price was my biggest hurdle. Purchased the 1.93 model and could not be happier. No more adjusting or tilting my head with my eyes at an angle. The construction is top quality and well worth the price tag, liked it so much I purchased another one a few days after. Will be converting all my optic mounts to these, so much more comfortable behind the rifle. Noticed a slight improvement to my accuracy and attribute that to my eyes being more parallel to the ground. Overall well worth the money.
